EvenIt is built so the worst-case is small: it never touches your money, keeps only what it needs, and lets you walk away with your data at any time. Here’s exactly how.
It never moves your money
EvenIt is not a bank, wallet, or payment processor. It records who paid and who owes; you settle up directly, however you like. There is no balance to hack and no funds to lose.
Balances are accurate, per currency
Every balance is tracked in its own currency and never silently converted. Cross-currency settlements record the exact rate used, so no one quietly loses money to a hidden conversion.
No ads, never sold
We make money from the product, not from you. There are no ads, and we never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Encrypted in transit
All traffic between the app and our servers runs over HTTPS, and passwords are stored only as modern one-way hashes — never in plain text.
Delete everything, anytime
Ask to delete your account from the app or this website. Access is revoked immediately and your personal data is purged within 30 days; shared records are anonymised so your friends’ balances stay correct.
Only what’s needed
We collect the minimum to compute balances — your name, email, and the expenses you create. Nothing more.

Questions
Can EvenIt access or move my bank account?+
No. EvenIt never connects to your bank and never moves money. It only records balances you settle yourselves.
Do you sell my data?+
Never. There are no ads and no data sales. We use your data solely to run the features you asked for.
How do I delete my data?+
Use Account → Delete account in the app, or the Delete account page on this site. Access is revoked at once and personal data is purged within 30 days.
